Scarlet Magic Tassel Flower - (Emilia coccinea) |
|
Flame-red fluffy tassel-like, nickel-sized flowers, sway gently atop upright-yet-curvy stems. These bright tufts of color contrast beautifully with their blue-green leaves. This heirloom, sometimes called Tassel Flower or Scarlet Cacalia, was grown by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello. It blooms all summer until the first frost and is ideal for adding a change of height or a touch of color and texture to borders, bedding displays and floral arrangements. Approx 100 seeds per pack
This is possibly the flower most requested by florists and bridal consultants for a touch of color in wedding centerpieces and bouquets. Annual 16"-20"
